How to conquer Lizards?

I just tried raiding Innumerable Lizards with:
- 22000 Militia
- 13000 Swordsman
- 11186 Ballista
- 130910 Axe Thrower
- 44604 Bowman
- 116730 Longbowman
- 1700 Hussar
- 73884 Black Widow
- 6000 Cavalry
Against 3990 Lizards.
This resulted in the following losses: 98 Hussar, 2448 Black Widow and 180 Cavalry
The only forces that did any damage were my Widows (3808400 dmg)
So the rest of my forces are only useful for carrying loot if I were to attack more. However, I wonder what combo would be better to use against Lizards.
Should I just use speed bumps and my ballista's? I don't feel like using Black Widows just to conquer some Lizards. Or should I first attack other monsters to get them? Or even leave them and go for something bigger?
